July 12 - in Los Angeles. Farewell, S America.... hasta la proxima.
June 23 - learning to be civilized in cosmopolitan Buenos Aires... cutlery, manners, and a second change of clothing is back into my life.
June 4 - hitchhiking to Buenos Aires... thumb status: almost, but not quite, frostbitten.
May 31 - in Ushuaia, Tierra del Fuego.
May 21 - making deals with the devil to cross the Straits of Magellan into Tierra del Fuego.
May 16 - Inching against the wind towards the end of the South American mainland.
May 14 - recuperating from a cold in Los Glaciares, Patagonia...
May 3 - Riding the Ruta 40 Sur. Please refrain from heavy breathing or steamy activities... experts say it is a key factor in forming crosswinds down here.
April 26 - Coyhaique, Carretera Austral.
April 15 - Cycling back in time across the ancient forests of Los Alerces Natl Park.
April 5 - defrosting fingers and welcoming the winter in Bariloche, Argentina (and yes... the storm is still raging!).
March 30 - well rested and waiting for a trailer tire in Temuco.
March 18 - in Valparaiso, cruising down the Pacific Coast of Chile.... the air feels thick at sea-level!
March 11 - reunited with Seth and Kirsten in Santiago de Chile, endless stories and Chilean vinos shared!
March 7 - wondering if its time to leave the asaditos behind and head for Chile...
March 4 - purple lipped from the finest wines, dancing with the most beautiful women on earth, and rocking out to Manu Chao at the local football field in Mendoza, Argentina. Pura Vida!
but the hour is nigh for me to rest, for another dawn will break shortly to rise from the ebbing tides of mediocrity and leave this sullen field of conformity.
but the hour (oh, time!) is nigh for us (weE!) to play (plaaay!) for a new day (the time has come) is rising (the time is now) from the ashes (change the world) of the old (cirsscrossing diverging recrossing) and we (dear lover) shall ride these new tides (dear friend) these tides of change (roads neverending)

(oh, time!)
is nigh for us
(weE!)
to play
(plaaay!)
for a new day
(the time has come)
is rising
(the time is now)
from the ashes
(change the world)
of the old
(cirsscrossing diverging recrossing)
and we
(dear lover)
shall ride these new tides
